He is one of the most aspiring and imaginative businesspersons of the present era of the twenty-first century. He has so passionately championed such disruptive enterprises as Tesla Motors, SpaceX, SolarCity – initiatives meant to transform automotive manufacturing, rocketry, and renewable power production.

Born into the family of Tesla Inc. and SpaceX’s owner Elon Musk, the boy was introduced into business and technologies from childhood. He learned computer programming at the age of 12 while growing up in South Africa and in his teenage, he developed a simple video game called ‘’Blastar’’ that he sale for 500 dollars. He liked reading a lot of science fiction books and early computers and technology.

Coming to Canada at 17, Musk began studying at Queens University but transferred to the University of Pennsylvania after a year on scholarship. This is where one sees his business like beginning to grow. Elon Musk left the cyber bank, and in 1995, he and his roommate built their own web software company in a small office in Palo Alto. That company was called Zip2 Corporation which stands as one of the pioneers of online content publishing company.

In Zip2’s case, it changed ownership four years later when Compaq bought out the company for $307 million; this generated Elon Musk with the capital necessary to get involved in his following startup enterprise. That company would be known as X.com and in time evolved into the highly effective and revolutionary e-payments company PayPal. This payment gateway was later bought by eBay in 2002 for an astronomical price of $1.5 billion.

Full of cash, and armed with innovation, Elon Musk started his third company known as Space Exploration Technologies or SpaceX in 2002. The commercial space transport services company signified Musk’s interest in space travel and aspirations to achieve affordable human colonization of other planets by means of completely reusable rocket system.

In 2004, Musk did the unthinkable; he challenged one of the most hostile industry through a start up car manufacturer called Tesla Motors. With the unique remit of both being the first CEO of Tesla and the product designer behind their first car, the Tesla Roadster, an all-electric, zero-emissions vehicle. It made its first appearance in 2008 and set the model of Musk’s outlook on electric cars as a high-performance sports vehicle. Tesla would introduce the Model 3 and Model Y crossover cars in the future under his stewardship, vehicles in the more affordable segment.

Musk’s Keys to Success

Motivation – Elon Musk works between 80 to 100 hours a week to ensure he creates a can-do attitude in himself and others. This is where he sets targets far off the stretching notion of the organization’s employees and yet feels they are doable.

– Elon Musk has been quoted to work 80 to 100 hours a week, he made sure he and his employees work to the impossible. On execution, he sets goals that may well appear unattainable though he knows deep down that those goals are achievable. Innovation – Another of Musk’s business management principles include the concept of product or idea that seeks to redefine a given market through the provision of novel goods and services . Some of the technologies that came through his companies were initially described as unfeasible and ridiculous at inception.

– Musk was quoted to have one of his most profound business strategies and that is on development of products and concepts that are disruptive to the current markets. Some of the technologies announced publicly by his companies were described as impossible during their inception. First Principle Thinking – Elon Musk is a passionate first principle thinker, and disassembles problems into constituent components and then reasons his way up. He has no love for conservatism and tradition for tradition’s sake.

– Elon Musk is a passionate first principle person, who always tries to dismantle the existence into that which it is and then build up the conclusions. He has a lot of impatience to incrementalism and convention when convention is its own reward. This is a good example of vertical integration since Musk wants to foster the innovation pace in his companies hence he acquires a significant percentage of all the extended supply chain. He contends that when one has to have a firm grip on the bounded system alone, it is very important to produce an improved item.

– Musk owns much of the extended supply chain in his companies to increase innovation there. He opines that the company could make a better product by exercising better control over the entire production process. Complexity – Musk has brought his strategic intellectuality into distinct sectors, which are complementary but unrelated – Internet and clean energy, aerospace, automobiles. He elicits business principles that mainly intermingling.

Vorstellung von Elon Musk über die Zukunft

Elon Musk has already transformed business and technology, but fans believe these are still tweaks to the world’s greatest version of the show. From colonizing Mars to building a futuristic “hyperloop”, a transport system that promises traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 20 minutes to developing a neural laces that connects computer directly to the human brain, Musk has no shortage of visionary ideas that he is counting on to be realized in the near future. He also wants to continue the revolutionize solar energy, artificial intelligence, high-speed computing and robotics.

Overcoming equal measure of adversities and critics, the South African born business person is able to perpetually enthral investors, mechanical engineers, scientists and the ordinary person on the street with his inspiring futuristic ideas. Elon Musk established his own industry revolutions following absolute best standards and is considered to be one of the most inspiring entrepreneurs of the recent generations. It does not matter that he meets all of his lofty future objectives due to the aggressive campaigning for the fiscal year. Because it’s evident that the newly minted business owner and this innovative individual will continue to swing for the fences and strive for better and better technological state in the future.
